You will want to know exactly when you will be leaving and returning and how many miles it is each way. Many cargo van rentals will have different prices for different days or times of day. They may also charge a per-mile fee.

You will also want to take note of how much gas is in your van. Often, you will have to replace this gas, if not you will be charged to fill it back up, often at a price that is nearly twice as much as at the pump. It makes much more sense to do it yourself.
